COURSE OBJECTIVE

On Completion of this unit, learner will have the knowledge and application skills in providing full-body massage without oil and able to apply them at the workplace.

This unit is within the competency category of Body Therapy and is one of the modules leading to the CET certificates.

COURSE OUTLINES

1. Carry out pre-treatment activities-personal grooming / hygiene, infection & preventive care;

2. Consult with client-basic A & P, effects & benefits, contraindications & cautions, importance of reviewing & updating client profile, client consent;

3. Perform massage - types & effects of different massage movement/manipulations, client's comfort & modest, client feedback;

4. Carry out post-treatment activities - importance of giving after care advice

Requirement	PSLE, ESS WPLN L3 English/Chinese or equivalent
Award Criteria	Trainees must pass the Final Assessment as Competent.
Certificate Awarded	WSQ statement of Attainment
Progress Pathway	Certificate in Spa Services/Advanced Certificate/Diploma.

课程大纲

1、进行按摩前准备工作— 个人仪表和卫生要求，感染和预防；

2、讲述基础解剖学和生理学知识，效果和好处，禁忌症和注意事项，查看和更新顾客资料的重要性,以及顾客的事先同意；

3、按摩操作 — 按摩服务的类型和好处，顾客的舒适程度以及顾客的反馈；

4、按摩后操作程序 — 为顾客提供按摩后建要性；
