COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course will equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply TCM principles and be able to ensure elderly is well-looked after physically and mentally and home care with proper nutrition and aided exercises.

COVERAGE

TCM Physiology of Elderly
TCM Nutrition Study – food and herbal study, hands-on application in meal preparation.
Aided Exercises
Safety and Hygiene eg. Lifting & positioning, home safety, denture care, assisted bathing, dressing, foot/skin care, operational procedure

Requirement	Pri 6 or Certificate in relevant subject WSQ Tourism: Full Body Massage (with or without oil) or equivalents.
Award Criteria	Trainees must pass Theory and Practical Assessment
Certificate Awarded	Certificate in Elderly Care
Progress Pathway	Adv Certificate/Diploma
