COURSE OBJECTIVE

On Completion of this unit, learner will have the knowledge and application skills in performing facial treatment and able to apply them at the workplace.

This unit is within the competency category of Body Therapy and is one of the modules leading to the CET certificates.

COURSE OUTLINES

1. Carry out pre-treatment activities-personal grooming / hygiene, infection & preventive care;

2. Consult with client-basic A&P on facial care, A&P skin (structure & function), skin types & characteristics, skin analysis process, types of skin disorders/visual assessment, types of contraindications, importance of reviewing & updating client profile, client consent;

3. Perform facial treatment - sequence & steps in facial treatment, range of facial care treatment products, eye care and eye area treatment, types of masks, types and effects of different massage movements, principles of good massage practice, maintain client's comfort/modesty, importance of client feedback;

4. Carry out post-treatment activities - importance of giving after care advice

课程大纲

1、进行按摩前准备工作 — 个人仪表，卫生要求和感染预防。

2、讲述面部基础解剖学和生理学知识（结构及功能），皮肤种类及特点，皮肤分析过程，皮肤病类型及视觉评估，禁忌症和注意事项，查看和更新顾客资料的重要性，以及顾客的事先同意；

3、执行面部护理 — 面部护理的程序及步骤，护肤品，眼部护理与治疗，多种面膜，多种按摩服务的类型和好处，顾客的舒适程度以及顾客的反馈等。

护理后操作程序 —为顾客提供按摩后的保健建议。
