Upon completion of this course, learner will be able to provide home and in-patient care

The topic covered include:

1         Orientate patient to health care facilities.

2         Take and record observation

3         Oral toilet , showering and grooming, dressing , undressing patient.

4         Skin care and foot care

5         Assist with meals

6         Assist with use of mobility aids.

7         Assist in elimination

8         Oral suctioning

9         Prevent pressure ulcer.

10       Perform last offices

Upon completion of the course. voluntary attachments to nursing homes and VWOs will be arranged .  Traners can also  consider SOHA's Certificate in Care Giver for Elderly.  Click here
