The Third Act - Rediscover Yourself by TCM physical constitutions
Many people believe that drinking “healthy tonic”, eating “organic diet”, practicing Qigong, Meditation or strenuous exercise will make them look better, feel better and live better.
But most of them fail to understand that they have to live according to their own physical constitutions, otherwise it may even ruin their lives! Formation of poor constitution is a process, so is its improvement.

Start the journey with an assessment of one’s body constitution based on TCM classification; followed by learning the TCM Life skills:
1.1 Introduction to the concept of Constitution and Meridians
1.2 Cupping
1.3 Gua Sha
1.4 Moxibustion
1.5 Hand Patting Techniques for Health
1.6 Self Massage
Exercise plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of stress-related disorders. As stated in TCM; Thought will hurt Spleen Qi, and excessive exercises will hurt the tendon. By stressing on movements, they provide a comprehensive system of exercises for people of all ages, toning up muscles, enhances the flexibility of the joints, fortifies the nerves, and stimulating the flow of qi throughout the body. Each Exercise routine is described step-by-step in the module and demonstrated by suitably qualified certified physicians. The exercises in this module will not include Qigong, Meditation or strenuous exercises. Instead it covers traditional therapeutic exercises such as:-
2.1 Spinal Exercises
2.2 Shi’s Health Exercise
2.3 Stretching of Tendon
2.4 Eight Brocades ( Ba Duanjing)
2.5 Functional Exercise with Band
3.1 Colour & Foods
3.2 Introduction to Chinese Materia Medica

Upon completion of this program, learners will be able to provide care to the elderly. Learners will understand the aging process, safety & hygiene (lifting & positioning, home safety, denture care, assisted bathing, foot/skin care) and emergency first aid. In addition, learners will also learn the safe and effective techniques of Infant Massage.
This course is suitable for foreign domestic workers, Work Permit Holders and those who have an interest to work or volunteer in Nursing Homes and provide home care services.
